WHO AM I ?

The question we are all asking ourselves…

Two hands clasped in front of a large, old tree trunk in a forest setting.
A woman with short brown hair and a pink shirt holding a newborn baby with dark hair.
Close-up of the feet of a baby lying on a soft surface, with the baby partially covered by a light-colored blanket.
Family photo of a man, woman, and three children posing together, with holiday lights in the background.
Two women holding hands and walking across a city street crosswalk, smiling. One woman has short hair, is wearing a dark green jacket, pants, and patterned socks. The other woman has short hair, is dressed in a light pink coat with a red scarf and white shoes. Cars are parked along the street, and buildings line the sidewalk.

My Story

Californian. Middle child. Product of organic family farmers. Mover by nature. Traveler. Community seeker. Cat mom. Sock collector. Tea drinker. Life celebrator. Thru-hiker. ‘5 second rule’ dropped it on the floor eater.

I’m a certified full-spectrum doula serving Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Before becoming a doula, I was a circus artist and wilderness guide, in many ways birth work feels like a natural continuation. The common thread has always been showing up for people during vulnerable, emotional, and transformational moments. Supporting folks as they navigate experiences that are physically and emotionally demanding, unfamiliar, and sometimes unpredictable.

With me, families feel held through the transitions of birth, parenthood, and self. Keep scrolling to read testimonials.

What People Are Saying

“Hannah was such a great support when I was 26 hours into a 35 hr labor and delivery. She tapped in as a reserve when our first doula had to tap out after staying with us 24 hours, and I had to head to the hospital, (which was not part of the birth plan).
She was extremely knowledgeable and sweet, helping get everyone comfortable and so helpful when we got to the pushing part. It was great to have someone so experienced with hospitals to help us, as it was not something we had really prepared for, and she did such a good job communicating between us and the doctors and just looking out for my mental and physical state in what was a very stressful time.
She also got some really incredible photos, which I loved seeing in the after times, as we were in no state to remember to take them.
Her positive energy and warm spirit were so deeply appreciated in what was a very difficult birth. Highly recommend her!”

“I had such a wonderful experience with Hannah as my doula and recommend her wholeheartedly. My partner and I both agree, looking back, we can’t imagine having done this without her!

As a queer nonbinary person, there were many parts of this journey that I was anxious about, and I am so grateful for Hannah and the way she approached the work we did together. As aspects of my situation fluctuated, Hannah was there to help me navigate emotional, physical, and logistical challenges, all the while making sure I was safe and supported. She has so much knowledge and was such an incredible resource, providing thoughtful answers to our questions, and doing supplementary research for our most niche concerns.

If you are looking for someone to step into your life for an incredibly vulnerable and intimate time, you could not find anyone more kind, warm, compassionate, nonjudgemental, and knowledgeable. Hannah listened to me carefully, and advocated for me when doctors brushed off my concerns. She went above and beyond with communications and support, checking in frequently and consistently being very thorough and thoughtful.

Hannah really went the extra mile considering our contract, as she put an incredible amount of time, energy, effort, and care into our time together. I recommend her without hesitation to anyone in search of a doula for any part of the prenatal / birth / postpartum journey!!”

“Inviting Hannah to be part of my parenting journey has been the best decision I’ve ever made. I began working with her 10 weeks before birth and continued until two weeks postpartum. The past three months have been absolutely beautiful.

Hannah is kind, warm, professional, knowledgeable, non-judgmental, and incredibly present. She supported my partner and me in ways that brought us closer—to each other and to our baby. During a drawn-out labour, when I was depleted and scared, Hannah advocated for me and kept me informed throughout, giving my partner and me the space to stay in the moment together. She has a remarkable sense of when to step in and when to step back, always allowing for privacy and connection.

Having her support—both physically and emotionally—helped us navigate these precious yet challenging moments with confidence and peace, something I didn’t think was possible. I truly can’t recommend Hannah enough.”

“Hannah was truly a gift, sent to us at exactly the right time as we prepared for birth. She brings such great energy and is positive, friendly, caring, and incredibly considerate. I felt completely comfortable having her in the room during such a private and vulnerable time while giving birth to my second daughter.

This was my first time using a doula, and Hannah made the entire birth process so much smoother. She helped keep me calm with massages and other supportive techniques, and she was always attentive to my needs. She also captured the most amazing images during the birth, moments I never would have had to look back on without her there.

Hannah is professional, punctual, follows up, and is always ready to jump into action. I am so grateful we had her by our side and would 100% recommend making her part of your birth journey.”

-Jennifer G.

“We worked with Hannah as a night Doula. I was going through PPD pretty badly and the lack of sleep was only making it worse. Her calm energy made me feel at ease instantly. I never felt ashamed or uncomfortable with Hannah. She also had such a wonderful way with our son - she knew exactly what to do to calm him down and get him to fall asleep. I swear she's a baby whisperer! My son LOVED Hannah!! I'm so grateful to Hannah for her expertise and calm, nurturing energy!”

-Jennifer

“Hannah was the calm, grounding presence we needed throughout our birth experience. Even when nothing went according to plan and everything felt overwhelming, she helped us feel confident in every decision. Her kindness, reassurance, and steady presence made all the difference. We also worked with her postpartum, and truly don’t know how we would’ve made it through those first weeks without her. Highly recommend working with Hannah, both for birth and postpartum.”
